run our county government like a business. We must operate within our means. My business background gives me a unique perspective on what it takes to make government more efficient and effective.
Everyone is doing more with less right now, and our county government should be no different. We need to protect our tax dollars and control property tax bills while at the same time maintain county roads and infrastructure, implement a county-wide clean-up project and provide enough resources to combat crime throughout the county.
I believe that my 35 years of experience as a local businessman, combined with my active community involvement, my military service in Vietnam and my roots in Brazos County, make me the most qualified candidate on the ballot.
